Aisling is a well-known Irish comedian that has been in the business for quite a while. Born in Kildare, Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. The comedian appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known by the stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984), is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comic. Bea started appearing as part of the cast on Irish or British TV programs in the year 2009, started her career as an stand-up comic in 2011. The comedian began to appear frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms from 2012. The actress began to appear regularly in panel shows following the win of an award from The Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She has been a part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since the year 2016 and is an extremely popular contestant on its sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she is the mother of one sibling named Sinead. In 2012 she became the second woman to ever win the So You think That You're Funny award. The surname she uses is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh'Sullivan' was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian passed away when he was just three years old. He was an equine vet. Bea wasn't told the particulars of his death away until she turned 13. The stage name Bea was in tribute to her father. Bea was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017 about her experiences with suicide. Bea was fostered by her sister Sinead and her mother Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer, and a former professional racer. The family was awed by racing, horses and the racing industry. Bea spent her childhood as a tour guide for the Irish National Stud. From an early age, Bea knew that she did not want to pursue a racing career. Instead, she was drawn to the performance arts.
